| Female. |
| Species: |
| Human. |
| Height: |
| 5'8"
(1.73 meters) |
| Build: |
| By
no means scrawny. Jade has a womanly curve to
her, but is very muscular. Her shoulders are a
bit broad for a woman though, due to all the time
she spends swinging around a sword. |
| Coloration: |
| Lightly
tanned skin, long blonde hair which falls in large
curls about her shoulders and down her back. |
| Eyes: |
| Bright
blue. |
| Armor: |
| Wears
a full suit of platinum plate armor with gold
trim and a white cape with a platinum cross clasp
while fighting. The armor has gold angel wing
shoulder blades. A gold band holds her hair back,
it has a red jewel in front and ivory angel wings
at the sides above her ears. Her boots are white
and covered in what appears to be ivory plating
that clicks against the floor as she walks. They
also have gold wings on the sides near the ankles. |

| While
not fighting usually wears a white silk button-up
blouse and a pair of tan pants. Over this she
wears a white leather trenchcoat which has angel

| Occupation
/ Class: |
| Jade
had extensive training in order that she may become
a paladin. Though she left her training just before
finishing, she still retains many of her paladin
abilities. |
| Affiliations: |
| Is
currently a vassal to Demon
Prince Orias. Has a squire Laine,
who she recently sent off in order for her to
become a true paladin. Jade and the shadow-beast
Abyssi
are now married!
She loves his daughter Tsuki
as her own. |
| Accessories: |
| Carries
a greatsword with gold angel wings making up the
cross called the Skylark. Runes have been engraved
along the blade, giving it its holy aura. This
is with her at all times. Her armor has also been
blessed, though the runes are not visible as they
are on the inside of the cuirass. Carries a pouch
with her of assorted potions, as she has learned
that more often than not her healing magic is
ineffective for many in the Dream. Jade received
a gold bracelet from Ceratrol. The bracelet is
embedded with opals, and has been enchanted so
Jade has some protection against her biggest weakness:
dark magic. Jade has a diamond engagement ring
with jade stones around it from Abyssi. Her wedding
band has a Celtic knot design with a diamond embedded
in it. |
| Magic
Type: |
| Weilds
Holy/Light Magic, including healing powers. Also
can cast some non-elemental spells. |
| Weaknesses: |
| As
a holy warrior, Jade is weak against the dark
arts. |
| Personality: |
| Is
known to be somewhat arguementative and distrustful.
Her days in the monestary turned her into a semi-loner
with strong ideals. Lately though she seems to
be a bit distracted from her usual drive and spirit. |
| Brief
History: |
| Dropped
off at the door of a church as a baby, none of
the clergy knew quite what to make of her. Impressed
with her skills with a blade, one of the priests
there sent her off to a monestary that sepcialized
in the training of paladins. Though often ridiculed
openly by both students and teachers, she chose
to channel herself into devoted meditiation and
training. This devotion led to her development
of the Holy Arts, and her unique and deadly skill
with the sword. Realizing midway through her teachings
that she was far advanced than even her elders
(or so she claims), she left the monestary suddenly
without a trace five years ago, and has since
spent her life in travel. The reasons Jade often
gives for having left her training unfinished
and the real reasons are often very different.
Jade had always been looked down on at the monestary
for being a woman, and was prone to rebellious
tendancies and mischief. Finally during her later
years she committed one of the most hanious sins
of all - she fell in love with a young monk who
was also training at the monestary. The monks
here were to live lives of celebacy and prayer,
so when the Head Priest found Jade and her lover
engaged in a less-than-celebant act, he was stricken
by rage and jealousy. The head priest then hired
a hitman to kill them both in their sleep, so
as to not tarnish the reputation of the church.
When the hitman snuck into Jade's private quarters,
he made the mistake of killing the passive monk
first. Jade was quickly aroused and drew her sword,
making the hitman the first man she ever killed.
After this chain of events Jade gathered her things
together and fled. To this day she has not stepped
foot inside a church. |
| A
brief and character revealing answer to the question,
"What is your ambition?" |
| "To
find my place in this world, and this life." |
